Michael Collins began his career at IFP as a summer intern in 2008 and has served in a wide variety of roles across the company including trading, sales operations, and logistics.
Since joining the company full time in 2009, Michael has been instrumental in the growth of The Kraft Group’s containerboard and corrugated packaging businesses. Michael played a key role in the company’s acquisition and integration of new containerboard and corrugated packaging assets by designing and executing the sales and trading strategy, while providing leadership of the Domestic Operations team.
In 2023, Michael was promoted to Senior Vice President and began overseeing the companies Market Intelligence, Information Technology, and Transportation departments with a focus on developing and executing strategies to improve IFP’s operational efficiency to prepare the company for future growth. After being named Executive Vice President in 2025, Michael took on the additional responsibility for IFP’s global Operations and Finance departments.
Michael is an alumnus of Bowdoin College and Deerfield Academy.
