International Forest Products earns Top 10 ranking among largest U.S. exporters and remains first among New England exporters

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – International Forest Products LLC (IFP), a member of the Kraft Group of companies headquartered in Foxborough, Mass., has once again earned the spot as New England’s top U.S. exporter and has climbed to 6th on the national rankings among the Top 100 U.S. Exporters in 2015 according to the annual rankings published by The Journal of Commerce. The sixth place ranking is IFP’s highest in history, moving up nine positions since last year.

IFP, a forest products and commodities trader, earned the ranking by exporting 84,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in 2015. TEUs are a standard measurement of containerized ocean shipping. This represents a 32 % increase over IFP’s exports in 2014 (63,700 TEUs) and a 138% increase since 2010 (35,300 TEUs). IFP has appeared on the Top 100 list every year since 1997 and has ranked in the top 50 each year since 2004. The top 100 rankings are based on data from PIERS, a Journal of Commerce sister company, and other industry sources.

“IFP’s success is due to the continued support of our customers and suppliers, as well as our dedicated staff,” said Daniel Kraft, President and Chief Executive Officer of IFP. “We strive to provide customized service solutions, and we are extremely proud of our global relationships that allow us to grow and expand our network.”
