International Forest Products (IFP) has announced two important personnel appointments for its UK office.
Effective July 2, 2007, Neil Govan will assume the position of "Marketing Manager – UK Solid Wood Products". In this new role, Neil will continue to be based out of IFP’s UK office and will work under the direction of Peter Keyes and the Solid Wood management team. He will be responsible for growing IFP's lumber business in the UK and beyond.
“Neil has been a tremendous asset to IFP-UK since he joined the company in 1999. He has built IFP into one of the UK market’s largest traders of recovered fiber, and we expect him to have similar success in growing our solid wood business,” said Daniel Kraft, IFP’s President and COO.
Also, effective July 2, 2007, IFP-UK will welcome Mr. Andrew Fendick as "Marketing Manager – Recovered Fiber UK". He is currently employed with the PRN trading exchange or "the environment exchange" where he has been instrumental in taking the business to over half a million tons annually.
