FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – International Forest Products LLC (IFP) is proud to announce its participation in the largest single shipment of logs ever recorded. IFP has marketed and acted as principle on the ship’s volume of more than 90,000 m3 of pine logs, which will soon set sail from the port of Montevideo, Uruguay to China.
The Mineral Gent, a capesize vessel, measures more than 291 meters by 45 meters, with 9 holds and 197,132 cubic meters of capacity, almost three times the size of the normal class. Lumin and Idalen, both based in Uruguay, who are long-time partners of IFP, supplied the cargo.
