Michael Collins began his career at IFP as a summer intern in 2008 and has served in a wide variety of roles across the company, including trading, sales operations, and logistics.
Since joining the company full time in 2009, Michael has been instrumental in the growth of The Kraft Group’s containerboard and corrugated packaging businesses. He played a key role in the acquisition and integration of new containerboard and corrugated packaging assets by developing and executing sales and trading strategies while providing leadership for the Domestic Operations team.
Over the course of his career, Michael has taken on increasing leadership responsibilities across the organization, overseeing IFP’s operations, finance, market intelligence, information technology, and transportation functions. In 2026, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, where he is responsible for driving operational excellence and supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy.
Michael is an alumnus of Bowdoin College and Deerfield Academy.
