BOSTON (April 6) — The Kraft Group of Boston is acquiring United Paper Stock´s recycling facility in Pawtucket, R.I.
The Kraft Group, a private holding company, has interests in paper, packaging, sports and entertainment. The company´s Paper and Packaging Division includes the Rand-Whitney containerboard mill in Montville, Conn., and International Forest Products Corp. of Foxboro, Mass., one of the world´s largest pulp and paper trading companies.
"We are thrilled to be able to add the United Paper Stock facility to our group," said Dan Kraft, executive vice president of the Kraft Group. "It´s a New England company with an excellent reputation for providing quality products and services to its customer base."
Tim Hays, a former principal at United Paper Stock, will be involved with the Kraft Group´s recycling division.
